story. family tells us it started as a super bowl celebration-- they say the kids were playing outside-- some in the street right here-- when the man drove down-- and hit the toddler. we were able to talk with the mother of the toddler last night-- she says her two year old daughter-- and also her son-- were playing on a scooter. then a man driving a white van hit them. two year old evelyn green died at the hospital. her brother only had minor injuries. the mother says the driver smelled like alcohol-- and now-- she just wants him to turn himself in. i never thought i would have to witness something like this. i'm only 26 and i lost my baby. just turn yourself in. witnesses also said the van-- didnt have side or back windows.
